Dependable and passionate, Ivana has a keen ability to keep clients at ease during complicated litigation proceedings.
Ivana’s practice focuses on the defence of financial and construction professionals. She also acts for insurers in large, complex, subrogation and recovery actions, and defends personal injury claims arising from a broad range of casualty events.
Prior to joining the firm, Ivana gained extensive experience in defending professional liability claims in respect of insurance brokers, architects, university professors, and medical professionals. She also defended a variety of claims related to personal injury, occupiers liability, construction liability, defamation, and breach of contract.
Ivana obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and was called to the bar in 2013. Since then, she has developed strong advocacy skills, appearing before the Ontario Small Claims Court, Ontario’s Superior Court, Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal.
Outside of work, Ivana is learning to love the sport of hockey from her rather enthusiastic husband and toddler son. In addition to her family life, Ivana’s interests include interior design, collecting midcentury modern furniture, and travel.
